Description
Have you ever seen such patterns and textures on a horse? This Onaqui wild stallion reminds me of the velveteen rabbit, love bites, a missing ear, and a fluffy coat, its various colors and spots against the desert landscape and grassy hills.
His name is Evander, and he was 1 of 311 wild horses inhumanely rounded up by helicopters on the Onaqui range. He was one of the few lucky ones who survived and now lives at the Engler Canyon Ranch Sanctuary in Colorado.
Your purchase helps support our Wild Horses and gives back to our planet. With each photograph or merchandise piece sold, 100% of the proceeds go to continuing Rewild The Wild's efforts to stop the inhumane roundups from forcing these beautiful creatures into harsh living conditions or slaughter.

Beautiful capture of this wild stallion. Poor thing losing part of his ear! I used to own a horse very similar to this one but he had a dark rump with white spots (Appaloosa).
